Experience the vibrant celebration of Hellenic pride at the 86th Annual Greek Independence Day Parade, filmed in stunning 8K resolution on New York City’s iconic Fifth Avenue. On March 30, 2025, thousands of proud Greeks, Greek-Americans, and friends including Armenians came together, marching from 64th to 79th Street, honoring the 204th anniversary of the 1821 Greek Revolution.

This year’s parade featured the renowned Greek Presidential Guard (Evzones), members of the NYPD and FDNY Greek associations, local Greek cultural societies, professional groups, student associations, and religious communities. Distinguished guests included Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, Ambassador Evangelos Sekeris, Ambassador Ekaterina Nassika, former U.S. Ambassador George Tsunis, and numerous Greek and American dignitaries.

Despite organizational challenges and deliberate obstacles from certain Federation committee members—including parade General Chairman Philip Christopher and secretary Mr. Papagermanos, who repeatedly refused us appropriate media credentials—we proudly present this high-quality multicam production. Regrettably, personal differences within the Federation leadership have negatively impacted the parade’s media presence, promotion, and potential revenue generation.

We at Hellenism strongly condemn these actions undermining the Federation’s unity, transparency, and growth. Authentic leadership should empower the Federation, support Greek-owned businesses, and use media coverage to promote Hellenism year-round—not merely serve personal agendas.

Nevertheless, we have overcome these obstacles to deliver unparalleled visual quality, capturing this historic day for the entire Hellenic community worldwide. Enjoy and share to support our mission of unity and transparency within the Greek-American community.
